ABOUT
DAVE WORRALL Dave's introduction to
the world of James Bond stemmed from his Father, who took him to see the
double bill of Dr.No and From Russia With Love in 1964. During
1967 Dave visited the Volcano set being built for You Only Live Twice
at Pinewood Studios, and thus began his life-long interest in both James Bond
and the movie industry. In the 70's, Dave was a
keen amateur film maker and his 35-minute film For A Moment (which was
based on Pete Townshend's rock album 'Quadrophenia', and made three years before
the big screen adaptation starring Sting), won first prize on BBC's televison
programme 'Action!' The following year his film The Tin Soldiers,
which is generally acknowledged as one of the most ambitious amateur films
ever made, took third place in the same BBC competition. After a short stint in
the film industry, where he workd on International Velvet, Candleshoe
and A Bridge Too Far, Dave established a career in marketing - in both
the leisure and film industry. Following the success of his first book 'The
Most Famous Car In The World' in 1992, Dave went freelance. He now runs his
own successful publishing company, and continues to work on Bond related
projects and books from his base in the New Forest in |
